ANGELA BEDEKOVIC graduated in theatre studies in Munich in 2008 and has worked in various positions in the cultural sector, mostly in performance art and film. In 2019 she made her first film, the short TIME, and started to work on the crossover documentary SEARCH, both in collaboration with cinematographer Matthias Grunsky. In 2020 Bedekovic/Grunsky shot the COVID-19 inspired short E.C. and most recently the documentary 3 SISTERS Mia | Uschi | Martha.

MATTHIAS GRUNSKY is an internationally working cinematographer. He is best known for his work on US independent movies and has been a steady collaborator of director Andrew Bujalski since his 2001 debut FUNNY HA HA. The movies Grunsky has shot so far also include NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS, directed by Joe Swanberg and Greta Gerwig, and the Austrian movie TALES OF FRANZ, directed by Johannes Schmid. He has also lensed several documentaries, tv movies and series around the world.
While lending his cinematographer’s eye to many filmmakers, Grunsky shows his personal angle on the world in films, which he co-directs with Angela Bedekovic, such as the feature length documentaries SEARCH and 3 SISTERS Mia | Uschi | Martha.
